Every photograph on this site is either the owner’s own or a freely licensed photograph from a named source. This page records the provenance of the licensed ones. Where no photograph exists that genuinely shows a place, the family crest stands in its place instead.

Entries with no photograph

The restaurants and cafés in the Local Guide, Ficuzza forest and Rocca Busambra, the thermal springs of Viterbo and the Acropolis Museum carry the crest rather than a photograph. A stock photograph of a dining room presented as a named restaurant would be a false claim about a real business, and no freely licensed photograph of Rocca Busambra was found. These entries will take the owner’s own photographs when she has them.
